Our
Methodology
A key component of our programs and messages
is the use of the outdoors as a "connecting
point" to our active culture. Not only is the
outdoors a place where man can more easily encounter
the reality of a caring God and experience openness
to spiritual things, the thought of being "outdoors"
can also serve as a metaphor for meeting the
un-churched "outside the doors" of a traditional
church building. All of our curriculum and training
underscores the importance of being culturally
relevant and meeting those far from God where
they are. And for men in particular, we've found
that connecting them to Christ by tapping their
outdoor interests is an effective outreach strategy.
