ISI Sacramento 2012 – Post Event Update

Wow. Praise the Lord! What an AWESOME Iron Sharpens Iron Men’s Conference.

Since the day after last year’s ISI in Sacramento (Rancho Cordova), we have been praying for the 2012 event – that God would bring men out to the event and that their hearts/lives would be forever changed through the power of the Gospel Message.

God answered our prayers – BIG TIME and showed up in a mighty way at First Covenant Church on Saturday October 20th. Our keynote speakers, Bryan Carter and Chuck Stecker, delivered challenging and powerful messages to the men. The worship team ROCKED the house and ushered the men into a great time of worship during the morning and afternoon sessions. The seminar speakers spoke to the men with conviction and roused them from their comfort zones on many different levels stirring within them a desire to dive deeper into their relationships with God.

From a crowd of over 600 men, ranging in age from 10 years old to 88 years of age, over 23 men gave their lives to Christ for the first time. And, we know of at least 62 men who recommitted their lives to Christ. Praise God! Men from over 60 churches attended – some from over 160 miles away. All of them walked away from a unique experience that ushered them into the presence of our loving Heavenly Father.

Thank you to those who have prayed over this event, who volunteered with us at this ISI, and thank you to those who attended this year’s ISI in Sacramento. We hope to see you next year. God Bless!
