Johnny is a certified Christian counselor and leadership coach. He has conducted marriage conferences with FamilyLife Ministries for over 10 years and has led Building Lasting Relationships seminars at McLean Bible Church for five years. He directs the Men's Ministry at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden, MD.

National media regularly feature Johnny's solid message, such as CNN, BET, and the Baltimore Sun newspaper. He is also the former radio host of The Relationship Fitness Show in Washington, D. C. and has written articles for Ebony, Essence and Inside Journal. He also serves as the life coach/chaplain for the Washington Redskins.

In May, 2008, Johnny was a part of a select group of marriage educators and researchers invited to the White House to discuss ways to strengthen marriages in America. His leadership experience includes staff positions at Mclean Bible Church, the Minirth-Meier Clinic, Promise Keepers, and an adjunct professor role at Washington Bible College and Capitol Bible Seminary. His education includes a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Washington Bible College and a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. Johnny is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Strategic Leadership at Regent University.

Johnny is married to his best friend, Lezlyn, and they have three sons. The Parkers reside outside Washington, D.C.

Gary Mortara

Pastor Gary gave his life to Jesus Christ in 1980.  In 1988 he pioneered a Church in Oakland, California.  Then in 1993 he became the Senior Pastor of Faith Fellowship.  At the start of Pastor Gary's tenure, 65 people attended Faith Fellowship every Sunday.  At present, Faith Fellowship runs over 1,400 people per weekend.

He has taught at the College level at the Golden Gate School of Theology, which is an extension of Patten College at Faith Fellowship.  

From 1998 to 1999 his sermons aired on KFAX radio (1100 AM) on his own program called “I Speak Life.”  He is frequently invited to speak at conferences, seminars and retreats both for adults and youth.  He has had a T.V. Show with the same name “I Speak Life” on KTLN television, which has been televised throughout the U. S. 

Pastor Gary has over 20 years of experience as a Senior Pastor.  During this time he has ministered to multitudes of people and seen many lives transformed and renewed.  Many have been healed, marriages have been restored, and many have turned their lives over to Jesus Christ.  Pastor Gary's passion is to minister to people in the name of Jesus Christ and to glorify God in all he does.

Pastor Gary’s first book entitled “Be A Man” has sold thousands of copies.  Santa Rita Prison has purchased over 600 copies for their inmates, and Chuck Colson's Prison Fellowship Ministry has featured it in their prison magazine “Inside Journal,” which reaches almost every prison nationwide. Pastor Gary’s second book, “Beauty of A Woman”, is available for women of all ages.

He is a “guy’s guy”, and his hobbies include golf (which he played at the professional level) and hunting.

In 1986, Pastor Gary married his wife Tisha and they have three children:  Michael 22, Jonathan19, and Liana 15.
