How Your Men's Ministry Can Leverage Easter
Easter - it's one of the two highest church attendance days, and many of those attending are not regular church attenders. What a great opportunity for your men's ministry to strategically plan some kind of event post-Easter to invite men to.
Plan an event that appeals to non-churched guys - consider tapping spring sports like baseball or golf - maybe schedule a night at the local batting cages or schedule a golf outing - make it fun and adventurous - not a heavy spiritual thing. Focus on getting your godly brothers together to have fun and invite non-churched guys to join you.
Create business-card sized invitations that your men can hand out on Easter. Host a table in your church lobby promoting the event and soliciting sign-ups - have candy available to draw the kids! Deploy outgoing men at this table to welcome and engage guys in casual conversation.
Don't miss this great opportunity to connect with men who don't normally come to church and get them around the guys in your congregation. Build relational bridges with an event like this so you can earn the right to be heard when it really matters down the road.
