Using Your "Toys" for Jesus
With summer approaching, it is the time of year when many of us are thinking about leisure and spending time outdoors with friends and family. We want to encourage you to be intentional in using your "toys" for Jesus.
The material things God has blessed you with are not your own...they are on loan to you from Him. You are entrusted to hold all things loosely and use them to the glory of God. Why not use your stuff to love the people around you?
Here are just a few ideas:
- Take your neighbors and their family out on your ski boat for an afternoon
- Invite an unchurched buddy to join you on an
ATV ride
- Include the kids of your neighbors on a weekend camping trip
- Take a child of a single parent out fishing on your boat
The ideas are endless. Just be intentional about including others in your fun!
