Tap the Interests of Your Men's Council
Are your men's leaders excited about inviting their friends and neighbors to your next outreach event? Are your guys having fun? If not, perhaps you need to revisit your plans - consider turning the earthly passions of your men's council members into heavenly tools that will engage with men in your community.
When your leaders are on fire, others will catch the vision and enthusiasm and want their friends to join in. In fact, if your men's ministry is just getting started and you have a handful of men to form your men's council, ask each council member to "adopt" a program area that they are excited about. Most likely, these men surfaced as your leaders because they had enthusiasm and ideas about how to connect men to the life of your church or serve the men in your community.
