Using a Leadership Agreement
There is wisdom in inviting your men's council and other men in leadership in ministry in your church body to review and sign some kind of leadership agreement or covenant.
A document like this can help unify your leaders around key scripture and Biblical principles that will guide and inform your ministry leadership. What standards will you hold your leaders accountable to? What process will you endeavor to follow when it's time for someone to move on or when there is a serious moral breech?
A document outlining these scriptures, principles, and processes that includes a place for each man - and their spouse, if applicable - to sign, can be a powerful resource.
